Just because it's almost 2 in the morning, and I can't go to be. > :(

Yes, you got that right. I decided to make a blog post since I can't sleep and I have to do something to keep myself busy, yay for that! :)

Sooo, I just want to share some pictures with you all. Things that happened a couple months back, when I went MIA. ;)

First up, my highschool friend asked me to do her makeup for their ballet recital. At first, I was kinda hesitant because doing other people's makeup is such a tough job for me, since I'm not used to it. But in the end though, I took the challenge. :) PS, please don't laugh on how I did her look, I know I suck. But hey, it was just for fun. :p

Next up, my 18th birthday. Here in the Philippines, we usually throw a huge party when girls turn 18, but I decided not to. I was just being practical. ;) I didn't have any plans, but my friend decided to throw me a surprise party which was very sweet. Part 2 was actually in our dorm, my dormies and cousin suprised me with 2 cakes. :D

Last one, some recent pictures of me. Just a proof that I'm still alive. :p Just kidding. I just wanna share pictures of me wearing the Myra VitaGlow Tinted Moisturizer which I've been kinda loving. ;)

I used MAC MSFN to set it, and NARS Orgasm Blush for my cheeks. So far, I'm liking the combination! ;)

I'M ALIIIIIIVE! :D

Hey ya'll! Yes, I am still alive and kicking. ^_^

My last blog post was about 4 months ago, crazy! I am very sorry for my absence. Here's a quick update about my life:

-Shifted course, from Nursing to Human Resource Management. I tried very hard to love Nursing, but it didn't work out.
-My laptop, and his name's Pablo, isn't with me, thus, the lack of post.
-Had summer classes, everyday. I pretty much spent all my summer at school. No vacation for me.
-I *kinda* got my heart broken over the summer. :|
-Now I'm a college sophomore, yay! :)
-My birthday's in a week, turning 18. Not that excited. ;)
-Exam week next week, that sucks. -.-
-My blog's turning one year old this month, I can't remember the exact day though.
-I haven't been buying makeup for the past couple of months, but I'm still swapping. ;)

That's basically it. Again, I'm sorry for being MIA. I hope you're all doing good. I missed blogging. :)

It's the most hyped MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre. I didn't get it myself, I asked sis Em, who has been my textmate for the past few days. ;) She told me that if I want something, I'd just tell her, since she knows MAC isn't availabe here in Davao. It took me days to decide if I should get this or not, and so, I gave in. I asked her to reserve one for me, this was even before the collection was released. She texted someone from MAC, and boom, I got one for myself. ^_^ I heard it's OOS everywhere, so I feel very lucky. This is probably my last blush purchase (I also said this to myself when I bought NARS O. LOL). I'd rather buy it for P1470 ($29) as to Ebay's $70 which is crazyyy. :O It looks very pretty, reminds me of sunset. I haven't even swatched it yet, I just like looking at it. I know, I'm a dork. :p

And also, I got this..


Sis Em included this, it was wrapped and I seriously thought it was food. It's the Etude House Duo Fiber Cheek Brush, this has been on my wishlist for quite a long time already, and she included one. I'm sooo happy! :D

Random Act of Kindess. ^_^

Don't you just love kind and generous people?

If you're familiar with MakeupAlley, then you probably know what RAOK is, or Random Act of Kindess. Some people give their used or unused stuff since they're not using it and it's much better to give it to those who would enjoy it. 2 weeks ago, I received a message on MUA from a lady, she asked me if I wanted MAC Mercurial Mineralize Eyeshadow as an RAOK, I thought she wasn't serious, but she was. She even let me choose from her list, but the eyeshadow was already enough for me, so I chose not to. ;)

Today I got the stuff she sent me. I just love receiving stuff in the mail. :)

Rant isn't my thing..

But dear oh dear, this article just drove me nuts. Thanks to Thia for sharing this.

Blogging is my secret hideaway. People I know in real life doesn't have any idea I have one. I guess I just don't want them to know what I've been doing. This blog is especially made for ya'll lovely ladies on blogger, and not people I know in real life.

So what drove me into making my own blog? Well, I started out as a reader. Just reading and lurking around people's blogger. I noticed how friendly and kind people were to each other. Just by reading blogs, you could learn anything and everything under the sun: beauty, fashion, life, you name it. I found all these very interesting which led me to making my own blog. The main purpose of all these is to continue helping out and inspiring other girls.

Starting out was pretty easy, I felt that sense of belongingness. I guess it's because of the warm welcome people give you. I know it's weird though, all these ladies being really nice to you when you don't even know each other in real life. After months of blogging, I finally understood why. We are all here because of one reason, we love makeup, fashion, beauty stuff. That's all our common denominator why we get along so well. All these ladies here, I treat them as if they were all my sisters. Sisters that I never had. This is like my 2nd family, while MakeupAlley's my 3rd. ;)

We do what we do to help other ladies. We make reviews out of our personal experiences, a review from a 'normal' person's point of view. Not because we're not makeup artist doesn't mean we can't make one. Not because we're not makeup artist doesn't mean we can't put on makeup, and use great products. We don't go out here and claim that we're professional makeup artists. Although some of our friends here are, but they don't brag about how they work as a professional makeup artist. They keep their feet on the ground and act as if they were normal. Not like others who's using their profession just to be noticed, or to feel like they're on top. I'm sorry to say this though, you're not on top. We are all equal.

I say, fuck off and leave beauty bloggers alone. We all love what we're doing and no one could stop us, not even a 'professional makeup artist'. Sheesh. Seriously? Throwing a question 'Is Blogging the new media?' is just plain dumb. Can't think of any topic to put up on your site? Then think harder next time. Better yet, research harder.


PS, blogger ladies, ya'll are awesome. Keep doing what you're doing. ILY. :)

I'm sorry if this post seems like it's not well-written. The article pissed the hell out of me. Goes to show this isn't journalism after all. I hope this made a little sense though. I'm sorry.
