Looking for..

a new moisturizer. OMG. Recently, my skin has been really really dry, and I don't know why. I need your suggestions ladies, I need like a cheap but effective moisturizer. I've used Celeteque already, it was alright, but I need a better one. I'm thinking about getting Clean & Clear, not the Philippine-made one, cause I've used that too, and it broke me out. Sooo yeah, a little help here. :)

~Our semestral break has already started, yay for that. I'm home right now, like home home. And it feels good to be back. I just sleep and eat everyday, talk about being a pig. LOL. I'm gonna be doing my first swap in MUA, so wish me luck with that. I hope she's not a swaplifter or something, fingers crossed. :)

I'm sorry for the lack of posts, just enjoying our SemBreak, but I'm still here, alive and kicking. :D

~And also, let's pray for Thiamere's brother, he's in the hospital because of dengue. Be strong sis, to you and your family, God bless you.

  1. Nicole - I'm using Skinfood Black Garlic Emulsion at night and Biore Shine-Free Moisturizer. 100 snaps in a circle for Biore. It's the most non-greasy moisturizer ever.

I'm oily skin so I dunno if that'll work for you. You have dry skin right?

hmmz, lucky you! You're on a break!! =O I think you should try Aveeno, I'm not a fan of the smell but their lotions are pretty good actually or use butter cream (the moisturizer, not the food butter. hahaha).

My skin has been dried lately too and I don't know why either o.O

  6. Hey Nicole! I love the Olay Classic face cream. It's really moisturizing, it smells really nice and I honestly think it prevents signs of aging too. I find it works for me and doesn't break out my skin either. Plus, it's been on the market for ages (like 50+ years I think) so it must be pretty good to be on the market for that long! LOL. Also, try a mild exfoiliator for your face to get rid of dead skin cells...like St. Ives Apricot scrub. I'm not sure if you have these products in the Philippines though...Let us know what you decide to get in the end ;)

  8. Hey girl, I second on AVEENO DAILY MOISTURIZER. It's not too expensive and it's really cleared my skin and evened out my skin tone. I saw a difference in about a week.

Another good one that I L*O*V*E is Dior HydrAction. It's sold in most department stores, but it's expensive. (40 - 60 American dollars)

  10. Wow, enjoy your sem break sis.

As for the moisturizer, I can only suggest Olay White Radiance. It has whitening properties though but it can really moisturize the skin. The one in lotion type is what I am currently using as I've combined skin. I never broke out with this moisturizer.

  12. I have oily skin and moisturizer tends to break me out and make me look greasy. i started using Paula's Choice HydraLight Moisture‑Infusing Lotion and it has worked really well for me. Doesn't feel heavy and doesn't break me out! You can get it online at her store.

  19. Aveeno is a decent product, I think. There're lotion, cream and oilment... I think cream is pretty good if you live in Asia. But if your skin is extremely dry that it's peeling off, go for an oilment. It stays on longer during the night.
